Cleared for Takeoff

The inspector was out today and approved the holes for the footings. I wasn't home when he stopped in, but apparently he only saw six holes according to a notation on the approval form. I'm moving on for now. I have pictures and my neighbor as a witness. :)

I fired up the electric drill and fabricated the three 12' beams tonight using primeguard coated screws, so those are ready. I also made a trip to get five 80lb bags of ready to use quickrete. I'll probably need 20 all told.

Boy am I glad my back is healed... let's hope it stays that way.
